Blog 171: Frostbite Graphic Novel

Synopsis of the Book:
WHEN LOVE AND JEALOUSY COLLIDE ON THE SLOPES. WINTER BREAK TURNS DEADLY.
A Strigoi attack puts St. Vladimir's on high alert, and the Academy whisks its students away on a mandatory Holiday ski trip. But the glittering winter landscape and posh Idaho resort only provide the illusion of safety. When three students run away to strike back at the Strigoi, Rose must join forces with Christian to rescue them. Only this time, Rose - and her heart - are in more danger than she could have imagined.

My Review of the Book:
The Cover: I really liked the cover for this one and how it shows that they are having to fight for their lives in a way.

Things that I liked: I really enjoyed that this graphic novel kind of picked up where the first one left off. I hope it's like that with the books. I really enjoyed that things are starting to heat up with Rose and Dimitri even though it seems to be forbidden. I like that Lissa and Christian are getting together as well. It seems that they get to live their lives even with things going on at the academy and even when they got on a ski lodge vacation. I like that rose was rewarded towards the end even though there was a life lost during their battle with the Strigoi who live underneath a mall.

Things that I didn't like: This one seemed to read a bit faster than the first one, in my opinion. So I felt like I was missing out on things, but I can't be for sure. I know that I didn't want it to end when it did.

Overall: I liked reading this and look forward to reading the next one. I would recommend this to anyone who likes the Vampire Academy series. I rated this book a 4 out of 5 stars.
